As a Leader, Creative, at NBBJ’s New York experience design studio, ESI Design, Emily helms the studio’s media environments projects, where she leads teams to thoughtfully design ways to activate a space and tell a company’s story through highlighting their brand, mission, and unique culture. A member of the core team that runs day-to-day operations of the NBBJ studio, she is responsible for leading the studio’s creative strategy and ensuring design excellence.

Emily joined NBBJ in 2020 through its acquisition of ESI Design, where she previously held the title of Senior Vice President, Creative. She has led numerous award-winning and iconic projects including eBay Main Street, the Statue of Liberty Museum, and The Beacon at the Tower at PNC Plaza.

Emily applies her education in architecture and training as a dancer to think about how people move through space. She earned a degree in architecture and a master’s from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program. Previously, she worked for WET Design, photographer David LaChapelle, the Independent Film Channel, and artist Jim Campbell.
