Heads of Departments from New York City’s leading design schools Pratt Institute, Parsons School of Design, Fashion Institute of Technology; and the School of Visual Arts, reflect on what they’ve learned through academia’s most radically shifted landscape.  They discuss the pivot each school made due to Covid-19 with an emphasis on how the creative process yielded unexpected results.  All design firms will relate to the methods adopted, the innovative use of technology, and the emergence of a crisis-inspired creative spirit.
