In May 2021, after more than a year of shut-down and remote virtual learning, we were thrilled to give opportunity to brilliant design students, while spreading hope, joy and creativity through the streets of NYC.
Through a public exhibition placed in the open retail windows on the streets of NYC, we celebrated a new generation of creators who brought insights and perspective to new societal needs. Students shared their idea, thoughts and design solutions with the world, reflecting their design process. The exhibition gave them a platform on which they could contribute to the creative fabric of the city.
This series of original window displays were viewed in the Soho Design District exhibiting unique installations created by the students from Parsons School of Design’s MFA Textile Design program, and in the Madison Avenue District exhibiting the magic of the School of Visual Arts’ Interior Design and 3D Design departments.
