Adam Phillips has been a radio journalist and documentarian with the Voice of America since 1993, where he currently broadcasts exclusively to Africa. The recipient of 20 in-house, national and international broadcasting awards, Adam frequently reports on the arts, psychology, ecology, development and indigenous activism and spirituality. He also has a sideline as a celebrant and “alternative minister," and creates ceremonies for life milestones and the celebration of sacred and humanistic values, A world traveler, Adam was "born, bred and buttered” in New York, where he lives happily with his wife and daughter.
