Devin Gilmartin is the cofounder and President of Querencia Studio and The Canvas by Querencia Studio and Cofounder and Co-President of the Future Fashion Group at NYU.

Querencia Studio is a fashion brand focused on addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through their supply chain and process. Querencia has shown collections at the United Nations' Framework Convention on Climate Change in Bonn, Germany and the UNITY fashion show in Chicago. The company frequently collaborates with Goodwill and FABSCRAP to create collections from 100% up-cycled materials. This summer, Querencia and Lead Designer Kate Walz will present The Earth Suit Project and a series of collaborative garments with human spaceflight think tank, Pacific Spaceflight, at an exhibition coinciding with the Paris Air Show and Paris Fashion Week. Querencia has been worn by the likes of Cara Delevingne, Alana Blanchard and Thutmose.

The Canvas by Querencia Studio is a division of Querencia bringing together retail and real estate opportunities for emerging, sustainability and tech-focused designers to create sustainable fashion hubs and community spaces. They have activated locations in Brooklyn and Manhattan, with their newest hub a former warehouse in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The Canvas mission is to create a new retail model to promote garment circularity and conscious consumption while programming events and experiences to promote the work of partner brands. The Canvas holds over forty international fashion brands, all of which address at least one of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals through their supply chain. The Canvas also holds a Goodwill Attended Donation Center and the first Global Fashion Exchange Swap Shop.

The Future Fashion Group is a collaborative network of students, entrepreneurs, designers and artists at New York University striving to build a more sustainable fashion industry for the future. The group focuses on the broad range of multidisciplinary practices and solutions that are required to make progress within fashion and sustainability, and engages NYU students and faculty in the search for solutions.

Before cofounding Querencia Studio, Devin worked at Milk Studios, Loeffler Randall and Rochambeau.
