Jennifer Olshin is a Partner at Friedman Benda. The gallery is a platform for key narratives that intersect contemporary design, craft, architecture, visual and conceptual art, and cutting- edge technological research. Spanning five continents and four generations, Friedman Benda represents a roster of seminal established and emerging designers, as well as historically significant estates. Since 2007, the gallery’s exhibitions, publications and collaborations with institutions have played a vital role in the development of the contemporary design market and scholarship.
Jennifer has held specialist positions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and at Christie’s auction house and has been at the helm of several galleries and arts initiatives across NYC. She holds advanced academic degrees in art and design from Mount Holyoke and the Bard Graduate Center, where she is currently on the Board of Trustees.
