Subordinate to the Minister for Economics of Latvia, the Investment and DevelopmentAgency of Latvia (LIAA) aims at increasing export and the competitiveness of Latvian companies, facilitating foreign investment and implementing tourism development and innovation policies. K. Rozkalns has been working for the LIAA for the last five years, initially as the Head of the LIAA Representative Office in Shanghai, China, and since2018 as the Head of the LIAA Representative Office in Germany. Prior to that, he worked for a long time in the private sector in the service industry.
