Kate Wood, a preservationist and educator, is President of Landmark West. and has been active in New York preservation activities since 2001. She is co-author of Interior Landmarks: Treasures of New York (2016).  She holds a joint Master’s degree in Historic Preservation and Urban Planning from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, and has taught preservation at GSAPP and Fashion Institute of Technology and lectures frequently on the subject.
