In his role at ESI Design, Nick provides the narrative and conceptual foundation that helps advance projects from client aspirations to concrete designs. He moves deftly between deep research and creative storytelling, from crafting effective, compelling copy to helping teams articulate a design vision with style, in a structure that achieves maximum impact.

Nick brings a comprehensive set of skills and experience to his work at ESI. Before he joined the studio, he developed exhibit content for the Senate Immersion Module (SIM) at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate, designed interactive group games for immersive start-up Task Force Zero, and taught digital media as an adjunct professor at Fordham University, among many other endeavors.

Nick earned a Master’s degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of California at Berkeley. He has been a featured speaker and presenter in the United States and abroad on the future of storytelling in interactive and virtual spaces.
