Sonja Djonne is the founder Managing Director of Heymat. She holds Master of Management specializing in business administration, financing, and investing.

Heymat is a family-owned company in Mo i Rana in Norway, building on years of experience from the laundry industry. Spouses Sonja Djønne and Thoralf Lian founded the business in 2015, wishing to combine the quality and innovation of industrial mats with contemporary Norwegian design. Heymat has since become an important part of people’s homes in Norway and abroad, and the mats are available in Norway, Japan, USA and Canada.

Heymat is built on years of experience from the laundry industry, giving us a unique and in-depth knowledge of industrial mats. We are meticulous about our products, placing high quality at the very front. It is important to us that our production and our products are as sustainable and easy on the environment as possible. Our Products are made from 50%-100% recycled plastic with Industrial qualities ensure a long lifespan.
