Tom Kennedy is a Principal with Arup, a global design and consulting firm. He trained as a civil engineer, a skill that has lead him to numerous projects and communities around the globe. He has had the fortune to have lived in various locations around the world including Moscow, Singapore, Doha, Europe and his native UK, but has been based in the US for the last 20 years. These opportunities have fostered a deep learning and understanding about cultural approaches to materials, design and construction techniques and has worked on a number of notable global and NY projects. Tom currently heads up Arup’s Civil Engineering skills, the Foresight and Innovation team in the Americas, and is charged with directing the Circular Economy business for Arup in the Americas.
